Ok seriously, how come no one has mentioned the cicero 2’s with the accel sole. So simple, one of the best high tops you have ever put out and the shoe had so much support. Not to mention the sick colorways. They were only out for a few months, or at least it seemed so. Thanks for your time. Cicero 2’s are the best part.

A more durable K3s please…….fits so comfy on your feet and the board feel just feels good. Only downside, sole comes off the shoe after sometime. Natural death.
Eos’s…the BEST skate SHOE EVER MADE. plain and SIMPLE, good sole, good shoe. PERFECT. I always wanted to skate the creagers, i heard they were good, but since Creager doesnt represent es anymore, so i doubt that the creagers would come out. the Eclipses, were nice shoes, pretty technical, but still nice durable skate shoe.THe ARTOS from ES!!! i didnt like the etnies one, but the es one was nice. i liked how it skated. but over all the EOS!!!!!! you know if the EOS’s were still in the market, P-rod would probably be representing them still:) P-rod’s favorite, shoe….
The Breakers with the accel sole. I don’t know if they were the Breaker 2’s or 1’s, but bringing those back would be awesome because I never got to try them. And also the Scheme and Sparta would be nice too. Final Note: I agree with one of the first entries about not having a brick wall of a toe in the EK-01’s or K-1’s. it is a bit thick. besides that, I’m very happy. 8-)
I loved the koston 2. With some shoegoo on so that they yould last more than 1 week. There hasnt been a more comfy shoe - ever.
Vireo and Tribo had the best sole ever. the insole was soft and i still have those in my shoes (k1) now. That sole had a rubber bump on the side that made the upper last long, were super durable and whith a god air bag that didnt crack. The shape was perfect for flips…Yepp, best sole ever.
We need the ‘Old Style’ Skate shoes back, The ones back in the 90’s when they were shit hot tech, Nowadays every company’s producing all these simple skate shoes and leaving good looking tech shoes out. Keep it Hip-hop.
We made a time line for all the shoes we ever made. I think we are going to post the timeline soon…It’s our 10 yr Anniversary this year (10 years of skateboarding and skateboarding only). I’ll chat with the HOT CREW and see if we can post a time line on the site so you guys can see the history of our kicks. Some really funky ones in there.
My favorite shoe was the original Cicero on the eos out sole. I had a bunch of those. They looked good when just lurking and skated great. I just got k6.5 and I think that one is my new favorite cause it’s a mid top and it’s all thinned out.
the names in red means that they have a website. if you want a red name, just put in your favorite (or your own) website, and whenever someone clicks on your name, it will direct them to the website you entered. but the names with the red speaking bubbles, and a red line over the top of their comment means they are a part of es, so they are special….wow, i just wasted a lot of time doing nothing, woohoo!
If it is possible to in wordpress then go for it. Im not sure anyone is going to go through their post checking spellings etc anyway.
Also, in the ‘website’ field, If you don’t insert ‘http://’ the address comes out like ‘http://www.esfootwear.com/blog/2005/03/24/retro-es/www.audioskateboards.com’ Im sure that could be changed, or if you specify to include ‘http://’ It should be fine.
rasalibre4life - Yes they do have a certain similarities. Pehaps because Tom was always such a fan of the K3 and wanted to incorporate some of the features, such as the toe-cap into his own show model.
Never tried the K3’s, but they looked SOOO sick…how bout the Cicero 2’s, i mean comeon, they had the accel outsole, and they were hella hard to roll ur ankle in…
all i know is that if you brought back any shoe you should really think about putting a side modle with velcrow so your laces don’t come untied and rip on you that would own my life.

dudes like seriosly, wake up, the k3’s are no wher near as good as the cyber’s were especially the black/silver ones if not those the koston 2’s that had the stuff that reflects light during night skates. di anyone have the swords? they had the wierdest sole,not bad, just wierd.
oh and i forgot the Cicero’s (is that how it was spelled?) i wanted them so much but i went to the store and they cost the same as ipath yogi’s (high tops) so i had to think of the long term and the yogi’s are way more durable.
i’d be happy if you made at least one synthetic colorway for each model. it’s lighter, more flexible, skates great, and it’s good for the cows. the only downside of synthetic is how long it lasts, but that’s not a problem super glue can’t solve. also, see if you sti people can make a more durable synthetic. that’d be sick
what is wrong with you kids saying the k3’s last long? i destroyed those things so quick. and i remember being tremendously pissed because i spent 90 bucks(plus shipping) on them and they skated really good. so make them again, and make them more durable, maybe with g2, and maybe a bit cheaper if possible….. hehe…
please bring back some solid color suede accels like the all gray and all navy.
and what is the deal with hidden lace loops on only the bottom two eyelets, how hard is it to put hidden loops under every eyelet(we do brake the top laces too you know, plus it looks gay with two laces hidden and three out)
Bring back the Arto’s!!! Those were the coolest deign! I love the Finnish flag on the heels! So good. Plus Arto is my favorite skater of all time. Or if anyone’s ever seen the Arto Saari 2’s that were limited release due to Arto leaving eS they were better than the 1st! Look in his Etnies poster for his Etnies shoes and he’s wearing the Es Arto 2’s.
The Arto 2’s. Those were the most unbeliveable shoe that you never made. Tell Tony E. to open up the vault and the cloning machine and get some shit done. And if that’s not possible, the Arto 1’s would be good again too, I had 5 pairs of those, even in the black/charcoal color that was never released…
do what circa did with thomas when he left….instead of jt204 it was cx 204……just turn the arto 2’s into a team shoe and release it…….and bring back the eos and catch….catch were out for like a month

and if you really hate breaking laces, and tearing holes in your shoes, buy a tube af super glue, and put it on the laces, and any area where your shoe normally wears down a lot. it sort of acts as a shell, protecting your shoe, and making it last for ages

The Koston 3. Best eS shoe of all time. Stylish and with skate function which most tech looking skate shoes sacrifice. In second place the K2 , the Jordans of Skateboarding, just like the first Rick Howard DC sinature model function and mad steeze.
i like the k3, cuz you know, you can glide your foot way over the board and you will come high, perfect shape, style, classic, i think they should bring the g2 into it and bring it back on the market

I know it was never released…but the arto 2s. i saw them on ebay…but not my size, and also in the flip video. the brownish tan color was sick. i work in a skate shop and i was playing really sorry and a kid asked what shoes those were…i was like, son, let me tell you a story. but yeah, those were a sick shoe. and i wanna give my first skate shoe a try again, i remember them being so comfortable. K3’s!!!! such a nice shoe… got the function of a shake shoe with the sexy smooooth looks of basketball shoes. i never got to buy a pair but if they came back id buy em all!!! ALL!!!!
muska’s and the creager’s were my all time favorite es shoes. but if one shoe could be retro’d id say the muska. you could feel you board really good in them and there is no break in time. i hope thats posible. sole tech needs to retro the first templeton’s and the first marc johnson’s too. that would be the day. just retro all the shoes that were out around 1998 please! oh and a laker colour way for the k4 & k5 would be great also.
if you do bring back any of these shoes DON’T put g2 in the heel
it gives 10 times worse heel bruises than normal shoes
most of the people on here telling you to put g2 in the shoes haven’t even tried it before

Vireo and Tribo had the best sole ever. the insole was soft and i still have those in my shoes (k1) now. That sole had a rubber bump on the side that made the upper last long, were super durable and whith a god air bag that didnt crack. The shape was perfect for flips…Yepp, best sole ever.

I think we are going to post the timeline soon…It’s our 10 yr Anniversary this year (10 years of skateboarding and skateboarding only). I’ll chat with the HOT CREW and see if we can post a time line on the site so you guys can see the history of our kicks. Some really funky ones in there.
My favorite shoe was the original Cicero on the eos out sole. I had a bunch of those. They looked good when just lurking and skated great. I just got k6.5 and I think that one is my new favorite cause it’s a mid top and it’s all thinned out.
OG cicero though for me.

Also, in the ‘website’ field, If you don’t insert ‘http://’ the address comes out like ‘http://www.esfootwear.com/blog/2005/03/24/retro-es/www.audioskateboards.com’ Im sure that could be changed, or if you specify to include ‘http://’ It should be fine.

and if you really hate breaking laces, and tearing holes in your shoes, buy a tube af super glue, and put it on the laces, and any area where your shoe normally wears down a lot. it sort of acts as a shell, protecting your shoe, and making it last for ages
