Thursday, Apr 14, 2005 · craigDudes, I’m so on this Wu-Tang kick lately. My friend made me these amazing Wu Tang CD mixes that took him many days. Making a good mix “tape” is hard, and it’s an art form. Speaking of music, we are working on picking songs for the upcoming éS video. What kind of music do you all want to hear in it?

I don’t want to be watching a skater and listening to their music in the part thinking they actually listen to either that crap or the really compelling song that’s playing, when in fact they’ve never heard of the band beforehand. I’d rather listen to a song I know that skater listens to, and enjoys. It expresses the skater more. so yeah, more power to the skater and skateboarding in videos, than the music.

Rock works better. Finding music that hasn’t been heard and fits with the skater is exactly what you need. Who can really picture Crankers skating to Biggie Smalls.
