Team Report 01-30-06

Eric Koston has been down in Australia for a month now, filming with the Girl crew. He is scheduled to return home to Los Angeles soon for some nice, relaxing rounds of golf and maybe a Clippers game or two.

As you probably already know, Rick McCrank and good friend Corey Adams came up big at the at X Dance Film Festival. Their Harvey Spannos movie took first place, netting them a huge grant for their next flick. Good luck, guys. Rick is currently preparing to head down South to Australia for two-and-half-weeks to attend the Global Assault contest and film for the next éS video.

P.J. Ladd, Eli Reed and éS flow rider Mike Barker have been out and about with Scuba Steve, hitting the streets hard. P.J. is the proud owner of a new 60″ flat screen plasma TV. I didn’t know he watched TV. Hey, P.J., can I come over and watch some skate videos with you guys? I really need a hit of that plasma. Ha-ha. P.J. has also been shooting photos for a Plan B ad with photographer Jody Morris.

I almost forgot: my main man with the crazy Brazilian style, Rodrigo Tx., has also been filming with Scuba, showing East Coast mates P.J. and Eli how they do it down in Brazil. Rodrigo has been hitting up the Giant warehouse training facility with Scubes and Mike Barker.

Justin Eldridge was recently seen partying in Las Vegas, where he tried to win a new house at the craps tables and slot machines. Not only did that not work out, but he also lost his cell phone. If you find it, give Justin a call so he can get his phone back. Despite all of that, Justin has been feeling a lot better these days, ever since he’s been riding his bike and kicking around on his board.

Javier Sarmiento and Cale Nuske are getting ready to meet up with the rest of the éS crew during the Global Assault contest popping off down in Melbourne, Australia. Also look out for Nyjah Huston, Rick McCrank and Mike Barker out and about down in the land of Oz.

It’s that time of the year again: Tampa Am just wrapped up down in Florida. éS flow riders Bobby Worrest, Ed Driscoll and Morgan Smith all showed up to skate and have fun with their homies. Check the Skatepark of Tampa site for the full scoop.
