For the first time ever, we had to turn skaters away—there were simply too many!
As we pulled into Westside Skateshop, the skies were looking pretty dark, but we were still optimistic that things would be all right.
Although it was one of the smaller Games in terms of entrants, don’t let that be confused with lesser-quality skating.
Our crew pulled up to find more than 150 kids ready to go.
Out in the Great Plains…Kansas, to be exact.
