Congratulations to Chris Cole for winning the Pro event and Alex Mizurov for winning the Am event in the éS Game of SKATE 2007 World Championships, presented by Boost Mobile. soooo what the hell happened to Mizurov? Did he get seeded into the pro game but got taken out at some point early?
that was the lamest eS GOS ever, I mean, why wasn't Mizurov allowed to join the pro contest? and I though Paul and Koston were going to enter? And what happened to PJ Ladd? But the worst part was the final, the gayest tricks ever! I mean last year double hardflips, double 360 flips, triple flips, SWITCH BS OLLIE LATE FLIP!!! Having Mizurov vs Chris Cole again would had been legendary!!! Would Cole be able to beat Mizurov this year? Thanks to the lame organizers we will never know...

I don't think mizurov is that superior than chris cole, their abilities are pretty close, last year cole was too confident (remember he got a letter with a dumb switch ollie north), so not sure who would win if they were to play again, we'll just have to wait for him to become pro.
Sweet man Chris Cole's on a role this year. Nyjah Huston Congradulations. And Mike Mo. It's pretty kool seeing that Nyjah is getting more and more in the skate scene. I can't wait to be skating up there with him.
I saw the webstream in NY. Pretty good quality considering my computer isn't that good, Chris Cole is a calculated kiiler, but I thought the contest was long.

It feels really frustrating to see such a talented Skateboarder being enclosed while other AMs are allowed to skate the Pro comp. You really got to be scared guys, if you are pulling all the strings to make sure that Alex is not even able to enter the comp.
We say lets have a rematch, no matter if money involved or not. Alex will take it for sure, no matter if its a fancy exhibition hall, or the parking lot in front of it.
We are proud of you Alex, keep on going your way, you do not need fake comps for that!

The Americans were just scared about Alex, when he won the european final the contest manager called him and was not pollited
and he did not sound happy that alex got qualified, and then they said he is not allowed to skate in the american pro skate because the pros do not want to skate with the am´s (Mike Mo?) and even Plan B said they would make him pro for 2weeks but still they did not let him start, and if someone else would have won the am game of skate he would have been allowed to ride the contest, but not Alex? The real reason is that last year alex as a no name woned, from a small city no one knows even in germany and wins, and what sounds better for the contest? Chris cole a known pro woned the contest or Alex who? (in that time) woned, and of course the organizer does not want that, so they just did not allow alex to start, and Alex would have won again, for sure. And americans have started with skating so they think they have to have the best skaters in the world what is right, but this is the reason why they pushed down the european scean for a long time, like with alex a german kid, who wins against chris cole one of the best american skaters, that is it

Its sad that they didnt invite the previous winner right from the beginning. But obviously they didnt want Alex Mizurov to compete with the Pros. Until now I have not found a consistent reason why they didnt let him into the pro comp.

This is one big joke! No question, Cole is really good. But why don't the organisers give some answers to the mess they put the game in? Guess they didn't want a no-namer killing it! That would put a bad light on the pros, eh?!

Being ringside at the GOS, I just wanted to say Andrew Smith gave Alex Mizurov a run for his money, at "t to t" it was just 1 missed trick by either player, and also the other skaters that went up again him gave good shows that were in the am., There was some excellent boarding out there from the other games going on as well as Mizurov's, but it seems he is the only thing you care about. I am not knocking him, he is a machine!, but he learn he had some things to work on. The am. GOS was a good show if you could have seen all the games going down at the same time. Don't know why they didn't let Mizurov in the Pro's this year, really didn't care. Why doesn't PlanB just make him Pro now, so next year he can go up against the Pro's? and I don't know what happen to alot of the Pro's that were suppose to show, maybe other contractual things going on.? yeah was a bit bummed a few of the Pro skaters didn't make it, but watching them warm up and joking and laugh with each other was cool,even during the contest they all had a great time, even got to talk with a few, Nyjah Huston at 13 years old was excellent to watch, at his age he's got plenty more to show everyone!
Looking forward to next years AM & Pro GOS...

This is the most lamest thing I have ever got to know recently. What the hell are you doing there?! Skateboarding is supposed to be fun; there are a lot of fans all over the world and you guys have nothing better to do than diciding that Alex won't be able to participate in the Pro Game?! What about Mike-Mo then? "The pros did not want to fight against the amateurs" If they were so pro, they should better prove it by trying to beat the winner from last year. Seriously, I put all my thumbs down. I only hope Alex will get his "pro regocnition" and beat the other asses next year.

how do you get second in es game of skate and mess up on a switch frontside flip
it seems there is not gonna be a big difference anymore between so-called "real skatebrands" and those like Nike SB, adidas,... who are just in it for the money. What happened to skateboarding? It seems there is not gonna be a good reason anymore to support soletech (és, etnies, emerica,...) you are all the same - just in it for the money! poor poor poor!!!
if you see alex skate, you see how much fun he has. i hope for him, that things like that will not take the good part of skateboarding away from him.
Alex is great, of course I can understand the pros are scared of an image lose, but that is no reason to not let alex start, if they would have said this last year that alex is not allowed to start with the pros ok, but they let him start last year and he won, and today everybody knows Alex is amazing and today it is no image loose to lose against Alex, so that is the reason why you should have let him start this year, but you did not, and even Plan B said to give him
the pro status, and he should have at least the chance to defend
his title. So last year it would have been a reason to not let him start you know? Because there he did not have a name but this year you should recognize his title, his talent and his status in the schene, because today everybody knows him as the german
"wunderkind" and it is no shame to lose against him,

eS has been in just for the money for a long time now, like when they asked ronnie creager to skate more big stuff, just so kids would think eS riders skate big stuff and therefore sell more shoes, or when they stole danny garcia from lakai, after koston went to lakai ("how did you got in eS?" "they called me and asked if I wanted to ride for them, and I said YeS!").
Sole Tech certainly has the greatest shoes, but as a company, they are as shitty as Nike or Adidas.

i thought if you win last year you should be at least allowed to start again in the pro competion but maybe because he is european what means he is not really from this world (if you are american) but he was only allowed to play with the kids in the am competion

Hello again I've met Alex today in the skateshop in Karlsruhe and asked him why he wasn't at the Pro Game of S.K.A.T.E, then he said: ''The Guys from the Contest said the Pro Contest is only for Pro's'' But ........ Last Year he skated in the Pro Contest or noT ?
And I'm Sorry that I thougt Chris Cole Banned him from the Contest
