Do you enjoy skating in contests?
I used to, but there is just too much bullshit. The egos are too crazy sometimes.
How could contests be improved?
Get some more corporate sponsors involved--more energy drinks and more "frontside Indy" and "fakie backside 180 half-cab tail grind 180 out on the Monster Madness Mucho Rail!" from some radical announcers.

How did you get on éS?
My friend Rueben gave my footage to Scuba and Jay Maldonado. I didn't even know he did that. When I got back from Europe with Benny, Angel and Nick, Rueben told me I was gonna get hooked up. Thanks, guys!

Mike Carrol, Heath Kirchart, Justin Owens, Van Wastell, John Cardiel, Aaron Loreth, Dennis Busenitz, Dan Drehobl, Torey Pudwill, Jake Anderson, Gonz, Gary Cease, Julian Stranger. I can go on forever, but for sure, the homies will always hype me up the most.
What have been the highlights of your skateboarding career?
Career? Traveling and good people.
